Flipped Classroom in a Digital Learning Space: Its Effect on the Students’ Attitude Toward Mathematics

Mathematical attitudes tend to deteriorate starting at grade 7 level. In this experiment, the impact of flipped learning on students' declining toward mathematics have been investigated. The effect classroom in a digital space was determined by employing non-equivalent (pretest and posttest) control-group quasi-experimental design. One hundred sixty-six university students served as participants study, eighty-three (83) each for experimental control groups. data gathered using Attitude Towards Mathematics Inventory (ATMI) composed four constructs. results were analyzed Mann-Whitney U Test, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test descriptive statistics. revealed that overall attitude across constructs ATMI group declined significantly while maintained their positive after one school year. Also, better than with regard construct value, motivation, enjoyment. It concluded use traditional strategy negatively affects mathematics. able address secondary joy, self-confidence, value Furthermore, study recommends model different mode improve academic performance, improving sampling technique, making it basis administration policymaking, facilitating creation native language country.
